What’s this called? 9/10 pain. My wife says it’s a “Charlie horse” but those are in the leg. No photo description available. Shared post Beth Ryder Added another photo, its just getting worse Anyone know what this is? I have been seeing a podiatrist for a year now. Had a torn plantar plate about 5 or 6 years ago, had that repaired (2nd toe) Started having pain in the ball of my foot (big toe). Went in and they said there was a fractured sesamoid. Was in a boot for a couple months. Ive been in and out trying to figure out what is causing the swelling and pain that is steadily getting worse. Ive done custom orthotics, a cast, xrays, mri etc. Just sent an appointment for a contrast mri in a couple weeks. In the meantime, I have developed almost a callous on the side of my foot. Im guessing because of the swelling and how its rubbing on my shoe. It hurts, it itches, its horrible.ive tried creams for athletes foot, anti itch cream, soaking my foot in vinegar. Nothing helps. Next appointment is January 12th. Added another photo, its just getting worse Anyone know what this is? I have been seeing a podiatrist for a year now.
