I’ve had nail fungus for over 15 years now on my big toe I’ve had my nail removed (painfully) 3 times now and it always comes back and looks gross. I tried Tycelon it’s a topical solution that makes the nail soft and then it starts breaking. My question is - has tycelon worked for anyone? Next question - thinking of getting a matrixectomy and getting the nail bed destroyed so it doesn’t ever come back. Is the matrixectomy more painful than having it removed? I’m so scared to get it done last time I couldn’t walk properly for 2 weeks. The pain lasted that long. Shared post MotivatedSeal3123 Hi everyone, Had foot nail fungus for 17 years now. I’m pretty positive I caught it with my mom’s contaminated nail polish and clippers. I wasn’t aware. It started on my left big toe and then it spread like wildfire to the other . I also had AF and my feet were itchy. So never took medical care because I was ashamed.
