Hi I never experienced these recurrent fungal infections bef

Hi I never experienced these recurrent fungal infections before. Got a fungal infection on my big toe on the right leg last year and I didn't even know that was a fungal infection. Left it like that for 2 months and it got worse. I ended up removing that toe nail and it's still growing. It's been 7 months since the removal and 70 percent of the nail is grown. I have been told to use ketocanazole ointment everyday until the mail is fully grown. I am dealing with other health issues now( sudden joint stiffness and persistent swelling on both toes, ankles and knees). So I am not using the ointment on my big toe because of recent illness. I noticed some black color on my pinky toe on the left leg. Never noticed this before. I checked my old pictures and looks like this black color is present on the pinky toe for a couple of months now. I go to the podiatrist every 3 months for a follow up for that previous big toe. I have to wait for another month to see the doctor. Meanwhile,I am checking into the group if anyone has cleared your fungal infection with any remedies or over the counter ones? Does this pinky toe look like a fungal infection? I will try to get a clear picture of it during daylight tomorrow. I hope it's clear to see. I don't know if I will end up removing this nail too. Does this need to be removed too? I have been dealing with severe stiffness and swelling on both my legs for 2 months now and I regret that I didn't notice this black color on my pinky toe. Does ketocanazole work for this? I read from the group that Vicks can be applied. Will that work?? I appreciate all your thoughts and inputs.
