One thing with PF is you need to feel good for more than 1 day before deciding it really did go away. Need to give it time to make sure it does not flare up again

volunteer to gate check your bag at the ticket counter (make sure it is carryon size and can go through security just in case). Our local airport will take them at the ticket counter before TSA. I haven't needed to try it at any of the bigger airport
