I don't agree. I have been trying to find a cure for about 8 years. I have had my big toe nail removed, tried all sorts of treatments from the pharmacy, most to no avail. A year ago I decided to commit to a programme of foot health home treatments. This involves soaking my feet in warm water with a few drops of tea tree for 10 mins.

I've got bad toe nail fungus on 6 of my toes, 3 on each foot, and have had it for a good 15 years. I've been using Vicks on my toes nails since June last year and I have seen a huge improvement. I apply it every day after my shower and will continue to do it for ever if I need to.

I made the decision, I am going to go ahead and shave my nails down as thin as possible and have them remove them. We will see! Even permanent removal is better than this at this point.

Betadine/iodine. File your nails down so they are porous enough for the solution to get to the nail bed. Keep them clipped short - do this for 6 months or more so the nail can grow out.

I did the course of meds and it completely disappeared and grew out. That's the only thing that worked. Then few months later back again same place. Had it over 5 years. Tried everything apart from amputation.

I had the infection for 20+ years and it was getting worse. I took the oral tablets. I also regularly visited a foot dr and used the nail varnish. I had success and now have one infected small toe which I'm treating with varnish. I removed all sugar, fasted 16/8 and ate mostly real food. Never reuse socks unless washed.
