Had a mid foot fusion on Tuesday. They gave me a nerve block prior to surgery for pain control afterwards. Having your leg and foot totally numb is so weird, couldn’t even wiggle my toes. So 2 staples and 2 screws. Non weight bearing for 6-8 weeks then I get a boot. After the block wore off… holy hell the pain was awful! Percocet is my temporary friend! I had arthritis in the mid foot and after being on the go a full day my feet just killed me. Here are my pre and post pic… See more All reactions:
