Question for runners that have gotten the surgery. Thinking
Question for runners that have gotten the surgery. Thinking of getting it done, they are usually not painful if I wear wide toe box sneakers and sandals. They hurt (a lot!) in heels and pointy shoes. A chiropractor told me not to get it done because you need to be able to push off the big toe when you run, and you canโt do that with the screws they put in. Any runners here have any thoughts on this? Also, how soon did you start running after the surgery?
