Hello all! I had surgery on August 2, 2024. I’ve been going through a lot of nerve pain/damage, swelling and CONSTANT pain in my toe. I also have lost about 75% of feeling in my toe as well. I had a bunionectomy along with the surgeon setting/breaking my toe and placing in two screws to hold the toe in place. I also had Os trigonum surgery done to the back part of my foot as well. If anyone gets this far, does anyone know any over the counter things I could use for pain and nerve pain? I’m losing insurance at the beginning of the year and I will no longer be able to see my doctor for support. So I was wondering if anyone had any things they’ve used that actually helps with pain? I also can not take NSAIDs as I am also a bariatric patient. Thank you!! All reactions:

View more answers Horst Saterdag I'm no doctor or specialist but I've researched extensively over the past 6 years and in this time I have designed a flip flop/ thongs against bunions. Sorry not on the market yet. What I'm about to say is based on your doctor and that the operation went well ? Spread your toes and actuate them on the floor for 2 minutes 3 times with a rest in between. Massage and manipulate your toes and feet before bed. By a product called CorrectToes and a pair of Barefoot shoes. A full explanation is in a video called "How to fix bunions in 5 steps" by Barefoot Strength This guy Chris is very good and explains very well.
