Can everyone who has has surgery on your plantar fascia tell me if it has not worked and why. I need to know why. And what type of surgery did you have Thank you

I gave up everything except for my shoes and inserts and tried magnesium oil. Have gone from hardly being able to walk to normal

that is so good for you. Magnesium oil would help relax the area, but unfortunately in my case I have server thickness in my plantar fascia and have had it since April and a 9mm tear. It will not heal. I have been off it for 5 months and no change. But thanks for the info as my other foot hurts a little.

I had an open fasciotomy in December. It made it worse. Now not only do i have pain along the fascia and the heel but now its on top of my foot and I have neuropathy now!

is your arch collapsing now. It sounds like your mussels on top of foot have to work harder. Do you wear orthotics

I had endoscopic full release surgery in November!! Best decision I ever made!!

Plantar fascia release 12/2016 left foot. About 50% relief at first then it all came back to the point I won't have it done in my right foot which is far worse tham my left foot. My plan was to have both done within a year of each other. Since that surgery I have had dry needling, injections, deep tissue massage, cupping, physical therapy, custom orthotics, only wear Altra shoes everywhere, etc. I have very strong and flexible feet. It sucks.

I had a partial fasciotomy and it worked wonderfully for me!! I have some pain on the side of my foot from compensating for so many years. But the surgery did what it's supposed to do!!

Following because I’ve done everything. I’m in pt now but it does nothing for me.
