Had surgery Oct 1…second to last follow up was Nov 7th and she said I needed to walk in a shoe, and use a compression sock or ace bandage since the big toe is still swollen. I have 3 screws and she stitched my second toe (capsulotomy) to where it would be aligned with the big toe once it’s healed. (Looks to be the keyhole way, aka MIS) Well my foot doesn’t fit in any shoe, completely unlaced and loose. Plus it’s cold and it’s not helping. Taking off the shoe still causes pain to where I have to hold my breath. Has anyone continued to wear their boot for a little bit after even though the doctor says “you’re ready for a shoe?” Pic from my last appt and what my screws kind placement looks like for the most part See less

Janice Egre Levy What is CRPS? Is it caused or worsened by surgery? What does "agressive" PT mean?
