Yes I used a red light I got on Amazon. I do feel it helped. My scar and bone healed very well. I'm 67 and my doctor was amazed how fast I healed. Now I can't say for sure that it was the red light that did it. I also take Magnesium, Potassium, Calcium supplemeont. But I know when I got done with my red light sessions I could feel tingling in my foot. I used it on both feet so I can't compare doing one without it.

I used red light panels at home and I felt I had a very good result. first surgery, they did it in office at the PT. Second surgery, I bought the light panels so I could it at home.

Red light is great for healing. The trick is consistency. You need to do it daily and for recovery like this 2 sessions a day for 20-30 minutes is best. I personally invested in a Kala panel about 5 years ago and I use it daily just for health and skin benefits. It has also been used for a brain surgery recovery, hysterectomy recovery and most recently bunion surgery. My surgeon has been very happy with my recovery. I am about 2.5 Months post op and have almost full range of motion back. I am walking daily on the treadmill for 45 minutes. I would say it is worth the invest as you can continue to use it even once you are healed. They are great for skin health. I sit infront of my panel for 10 minutes and I find it helps my skin look more youthful. No one ever believes my age. I am 45 and usually told I look 35 at the most. I will take it! lol

Big yes! I’m a dermal therapist & have a skin clinic, with professional grade LED and often thought about posting in here to let people know the benefits of LED to promote healing. It’s incredible. 830nm wavelength is actually best (yellow/white) Penetrates to bone! Much deeper than the red (633nm) but red is still great for inflammation. I’ll definitely be utilising mine when I have my surgery 🙌🏽

I had my first surgery in February and did 2 30min sessions a day for 2 months. My last surgery was Nov 11th and I go back for my final checkup and full x-ray on the 30th. If it is healed ad good as last one I will stop.

Sorry for ugly foot picture but you can see the scar is healed pretty good compared to a lot of them I've seen on here

yes they had it wrapped for first 2 weeks. Then had check up and I could start getting it wet without soaking. Have been in an off load boot since day one and will get it off Dec 30. So I've been able to walk the whole time. First couple days kept crutch with me until I got used to it.

thank you. I have the Celluma and have been using it for years for anti-aging and I believe it works, but I’ve never used it for inflammation. It does have a setting for pain which is the near infrared and I believe it at 830nm wavelength. Glad to hear of the great results after surgery as well.
