Hello, I am a 50 year old white male, A few weeks ago I woke up with my right foot hurting a little, it was the a joint just below the ankle and hurt when pressure was applied, lasted about 2 days and got worse as time went on, it went away, then the next day my left foot had the same pain except it was in the middle but low on the foot in the middle toe top joint, hurt for a day, I was limping around. Then the left foot happened 2 days later, this time it was the big toe, very very painful, couldnt walk at all, dealt with it for 2 days and then I couldnt take it anymore and went to the emergency room, I had to hop on one foot. I was there for a total of 7 minutes, the doctor barely even looked at me and immediately told me I had cellulitis and prescribed ibuprofen 800s and an anti inflammatory and told me to stay off it and raise it up. They gave me crutches as well, after asking. I took the pills as directed and yes it went away within a couple days after that. It came back on the right foot on a different joint and I am limping around again. Now it hurts when I bend the sides of my foot downward. Flexing the foot back and forth hurt. I have not had a fever, the first 2 times it happened the foot did swell, pretty much all over the foot, especially the top. Not really hot and not very red at all any of the times. My chatGBT symptom checker said it might be gout, but Im not really thinking that. Before these problems I was drinking 1 and sometimes 2 mikes hard lemonades a day, I love red meat and seafood, not much of a sugar and sweets eater. I have been drinking more water as well. Any help would be greatly appreciated, as I dont have health insurance. I just moved to Florida and haven't gotten established yet. 5' 9" 240 lbs

Christine Cox Have you heard of it going to different places and different feet every day? That threw me off.
John Niko yes. There is a gout group on reddit. Check it out https://www.reddit.com/.../www.reddit.../r/gout/s/jZBcBxdOdZ
You're doing good eating fish, also keep away from carbs and sugar come that creates inflammation , also what I do when I have foot pain is I do certain exercises, and get a foot brace, good luck, my doctors have always told me not to take Ibuprofen , take the Tylenol for arthritis it works better
MariaIsela Guerra For the last week or so I was thinking it was Gout and started following the gout rules.... no meat, no seafood, no sugar, no beer, no fake sugar..... but drinking alot of teas and coffee and water. But now Im not even sure what it is, so no clue what will help. Thanks
MariaIsela Guerra he said cellulitis, not arthritis. Hopefully other folks who have dealt with that condition will comment with more info
