Did they prescribe any healing shoe or cam walker? Also rest, I know sometimes rest is impossible.🤪 but typically with a fracture you want to immobilize the foot basically stop bending it while it heals. Always consult your doctor with this.

I fractured foot three months ago , a cuboid fracture and ligament damage, my next physio appointment is in six weeks , I’ve now got a swelling on top of foot near toes I’m wondering why this is happening.

I had a walker boot for six weeks , then no boot just two crutches , then one crutch , I’m three months post injury , it’s still swelling and hurts , I guess I’m not resting it enough I’m not resting during the day , I better go back to elevate and rest . My after care from hospital was zero , my GP arranged physio which isn’t regular I’ve got to wait six weeks for next appointment, I’ve got exercised to do .
Debbie Anne I would use something firm in shoes. Stop the flexing. Or go back to the cam walker and more rest. Also need the foot up past the hart to get swelling down. See a podiatrist or orthopedist. Definitely consult a doctor.
Go to the hospital see what they say always good to get another opinion or just call your doctor and tell him hes gotta see you now...seems like something is still wrong with it
We don't have xray eyes or a way to chexk circulation
If you don't go to emergency, at least call the doctors several times a day to ask for any opened-up cancelled appointments
At this point if you were my patient, I would be worried about CRPS. A CT or MRI may be warranted . Discuss this with your doctor.
