I had lapiplasty and akin osteotomy on 1/15 of this year. These were taken at my 6 week appointment. My great toe looks raised and almost rotated towards my pinky. Anybody else’s X-rays look similar? Maybe it improved over time and didn’t impact you in the long run?

You might want to ask your doctor the next time you see him, if you have any questions or concerns. 😉

Haha you read my mind. I was thinking of contacting him since I’m not scheduled to see him for another month. I will do that tomorrow. 😊

we don’t use x-rays as gospel it matters what’s going on clinically so I would just give it some time

thank you, I will. My concern right now is the toe extension specifically for walking. I’m transitioning to shoes and I get pain there during the terminal stance phase on that right foot but maybe that’s just normal and I need to be patient. I want to get back to running, lunges and so on at some point but I know I need to give that a lot more time.

Agree with Peter. Too early to tell. Start some therapy ?
