I have what I believe is called Tailor bunion.
I have what I believe is called Tailor bunion. Excessive stinging and sharp pain on the outside of my pinky toes on both feet. It hurts when I walk, especially with tight shoes (I try my best to not wear any of my shoes that are on the tighter side,). The pain and discomfort is getting fairly excessive at this point. I’m sure this question gets asked a lot so I do apologize, but does anyone have any recommendations on things to do for some comfort or relief? My family has a big trip to Disney World coming up in June, so I don’t really want to look at any surgical options until we get back if possible. Would appreciate any advice or suggestions! TYIA.

thank you for the suggestion! 😊 My wife and I are going to start looking into some good shoes, especially with our upcoming vacation. Do you have any specific brands that you would recommend? Disney World/Universal Studios will have so much walking!
Anonymous member I wear Skechers - you get ones with arch support instep.
Anonymous member thank you!
Anyone else have any suggestions? 😊
My podiatrist cut a silicon-like tube that fits over the little toes, then sliced it open so that it also covers the bunion. Works great. He said to coat the tube in baby powder every three days to keep it from getting sticky. Now…a personal suggestion from someone who spent five days in WDW and tore up both her legs and feet……get a scooter. I’ll never go there agin without renting one.
Sorry I come across as anonymous. Don't know how to change it. I must be too old lol. For you right now....I would get toe spreaders for all your toes and do certain exercises and manipulate your toes while wearing toe spreaders and get a pair of barefoot shoes. They are shaped like feet allowing for natural toe spread. There's a site called The Bunion Bulletin that's got heaps of info and videos that could help.
