I’ll be 6wks post-op on August 5th. Well, folks…guess who decided to go for a drive today?! …ME! I asked my husband to ride with me for a test drive around town because I wanted to see how my foot would handle it. I ended up driving around for about 15 minutes, going anywhere from 15-30mph, (depending on where we were) and then we agreed for me to go ahead and be the one to make the drive to our chosen diner for lunch. The diner is only 30 miles away. The speed limit the Ty Pie I'm about 37 days post-op... ​I decided to take a big step forward today and walk in my regular sandals to a local Lidl, which was a 30-minute walk away. ​I had MIS and the incision area is still sensitive, so I use adhesive wound dressings/plasters over the area to prevent any rubbing.
