I set an appointment to see my doctor this morning yesterday. I wanted to get a referral physical therapy forget all the extra stuff it’s time to get to the root of the problem. Yesterday I went to a physical therapist and I told them I will have a referral and hand tomorrow. I need an appointment for tomorrow if you have one available. I got in today at 2 PM. I have a month set up. They did tape my feet because I requested it. Important with taping if it’s coming off, you just rub it on because it’s heat activated. Do not take it off right after you get out of the shower because again it’s heat activated. She told me if it starts itching or burning or just as uncomfortable. Take it off. Do not take a blow dryer to it to cause heat activation. I read some stuff today about the taping on here and people are pretty much saying that it really hurt their skin and I’m assuming that you guys may have taken that off wrong. Just be careful. I think whenever it comes to our podiatrist, they’re not really looking to go for the root of the problem. They want you to come as often as possible. Mine was shockwave therapy the third time I felt fine. The fourth time I mentioned to her, I felt fine. I felt good. And she turned up the units and caused my feet to hurt every day for six weeks. This is not how I’m planning my summer. I will not be going back for shockwave therapy. If you guys choose to do steroids, you’re not gonna feel no pain at all I was told today not to overdo it just because your feet feel good. I have been suffering for 10 months just because I was walking and I was just pushing myself. The plants are fasciitis kicked in. It kicked in with all my pregnancies. I thought it’ll go away in a few weeks. Things got worse. I was defeated. I gained my weight back and now I’m taking it one day at a time. I will get back to my normal and I will get back to my weight loss. I surely wish you all the best

I found as long as you removed the tape slowly and gently it was fine. I used the kinesiology tape as it’s kinder on the skin.

Not all people are pain free with steroids. I have highly sensitive skin but I had no trouble removing the tape. I taped myself many times and it helped. When I started PT, the therapist offered to tape it. She did it way differently than I did. It didn’t help at all. So now, I just tape it myself.
