My genetically horrid feet. The most pain currently is where my left arch should be and the top corner where my nail is feels like pins & needles (top arrow). It's not my nail though. No ingrown nail. It feels better when I put pressure on where the lower arrow is. The tissue along where my arch should be has hardened over time. Feels almost like scar tissue. Shockwave therapy can be very helpful, especially one done in conjunction with manipulation of the foot and ankle at four specific joints and then dry needling of the shin and the foot in 13 different points as well as stretching of the big toe the calf and the lateral hip all on the same side. So this is actually a very reasonable cost and remember if you do these things in conjunction as well as eventually strengthening these things that I just mentioned that you would be stretching and then making sure that you are getting out of the wrong shoe and getting rid of all orthotics and you have an excellent opportunity for 100% pain reduction. And then the most important part is you remember that whatever you do to help get rid of this when it comes to stretching and strengthening those should be lifelong endeavors.
