Sorry if this is inappropriate. Delete if necessary. Just wondering does anyone else dread Spring and summer - I mean I can never find any comfortable, pretty spring/summer footwear other than trainers to hide these bunions. People walking around in flip flops etc with pretty painted toenails and I’m doing all I can to hide mine! Anyone ever find any suitable footwear.

Can’t say I’m not jealous of bunion-free people in cute shoes during summer 😩 oh, the injustice!

I suggest having a pedicure and getting your toenails painted, you'd be surprised how good they look and hold your head high, so what if you have bunions! Be confident and give anyone that look "you dare mention them"! 😂💪 xx

I actually still wear flip flops and wedges…I hate how my feet 👣 make cute shoes ugly…🤪but I live in Florida ….just looks so weird in sneakers all the time. 🥺. People look at my feet and at me but 🤷🏼‍♀️ I am going to do surgery at some point here…

The struggle is real and so discouraging. I found these at DSW last year, I felt comfortable and coverage was good. I only wish they came in black. These are the only colors they make. Good luck in your search this year.

I’ve stopped hiding mine. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Bunion and unpainted toenails alike. I do choose sandals that don’t show it off *quite* as much. I saw a post on some website that showed all these celebrities with pronounced bunions and it made me feel better.

Mine are starting to get worse seemingly overnight(as if it wasn’t bad enough) and I am just crushed over here! I love flip flop season! Normally I’m just like whatever everyone has something, but now I don’t know if I can shrug this off.

I put on a dansko sandal the other day and it felt heavenly. Might be worth trying.

I just get a pedicure paint my toes and wear my flip flops

i have to wear an insole on the other foot so anything pretty is a no for me 🥲

sucks…genetics are a b*tch and in a way I’ve just had to embrace it …for now at least! Surgery also makes me nervous cause many have said it doesn’t work 😳😵‍💫

how was your post op pain?!? My surgeon is telling me anywhere between 2-6wks no putting weight , then the boot …. 😵‍💫 I’m a hygienist so this would be a long time I’d have to take off

I barely remember the pain I took prescription pain meds every four hrs first prob week n half then Tylenol as needed. I was told weight bearing as tolerated as soon as surgery was over but he did say will heal better if no weight for at least 3 weeks but I didn’t too much anyway.. I’m still in boot even sleeping til 22nd then shoes

With bunions and neuropthy the struggle for footwear is dreadful

SAS have some not ugly Sandler that separate your toes.
