Here is my story. I have PF in both feet for over a year now. According to my physical therapist, I have fallen arches and I have tendinitis. He said when I walk, my arches collapse! I also have possible neuropathy in my feet. Going for a nerve conduction study on Wednesday. I have heel spurs - probably caused by the PF. Just started my 2nd round of PT. I have had steroid injections that didn’t work (I will never do those again). I roll my feet on frozen water bottles and spiky balls. I stretch my calves. I wear Hoka Arahi wide width shoes with firm inserts I bought at the podiatrist office. But as soon as I go to the mall and try to shop a little - I think I’m gonna die from the pain! Just standing is agonizing! What in the world is wrong with this picture?

Same !
The shots didn’t work for me either. For the last 2 months I have limited sugar, followed an anti-inflamitory diet, put magnesium oil and frankensence along with castor oil on my foot 2x a day and did the stretches on Dr Angela walks on you tube. After 7 months of pain, I can now walk a few miles a day and would say it’s about 80% better.
Only stretch your calves not your foot.
I honestly think there’s not enough research on this …mine has been going on for over two years ..and my left foot has acting up as well …I tried almost everything..I’m going to try a chiropractor soon! Does anyone here live in Long Island ? And if so , did you try a chiropractor and who did you use? The struggle is real 😩
PF is so strange. For me the pain was gone the next morning after the steroid shot about 2 months ago. I hope the success continues!! So sorry it didn’t work for you!
I have flat foot and tendinitis, to me flat foot is the same as a fallen arch. And I healed my meta tarsal tare. This exercise seriously has prompted a lot of healing in a few days. I have given up paying the bloody experts. I am doing and have done every single exercise and using a number of devices to reclaim my food health. https://youtube.com/shorts/L0uBMB1jF70?si=qkX6UDAZLo50ykYW
If I knew at the start what I know now, I would’ve gotten an MRI first, a sono, then tried Tenex w/PRP. I’m doing that last bit in March. I tried it all, so much money, so much spent.
I don’t understand but I use to heal from issues so quickly and possibly it’s an issue of hormones as I age. Not taking HRT would Rather get something similar with a natural supplement which is also expensive.
I had PF and flat feet. ART helped me. Activerelease.com. Graston is good too. Grastontechnique.com
I’m going to cut out (or at least cut way down) on sugar. So many foods have added sugar so it’s difficult to cut it out 100%. I may have sugar withdrawals, but it will be worth it to help with the pain.
I just joined Dr Angela’s group. It seems to go against every other podiatrist thinking.
I know! And I think my podiatrist is fantastic, but the exercises / stretches I was doing did not work. Also, I will say that I cut out processed and refined sugar. I do eat fruit, honey or agave in my coffee and tea and I think Chocolate is necessary in life / so I have been limiting myself to a few squares of dark chocolate.
Can anyone else tell Me if this exercise has worked for them. I think it gets blood flow to hard to reach areas.
oh wow. My PT is having me do foot exercises that keep the foot flat and only stretching the calves. I hate that there are so many different opinions on how to treat feet issues. Thanks for sharing!
thank you! They are doing Graston during my PT. It’s like a scraper thing. I think it’s supposed to help to break up adhesions and scar tissue.
You are not alone if that helps.

I feel your pain.
, yes, exactly. That’s great!
I’ve only had one session, and hurt worse when I left there. Hopefully tomorrow will be better.
, I felt worse at first. But eventually it gets better. It is so worth it.
oh good! Thank you!
thx
What were the steroid injections like? How many are you allowed on nHS ? Did they not work at all or would you say you even worst after ? I had PF for 10 years now , both feet one worst then other, had shockwave therapy 10 months ago - didn’t work. Thanks
