These shoes came highly recommended to me.
These shoes came highly recommended to me. Hoka Bondi for plantar fasciitis sufferers. I bought these at Fleet Feet and oh my God I am in love!!! It was also recommended that once your healing begin, please continue to invest in a good quality shoe. This shoe relieves all of my foot as well as my arthritis pain. 2 in 1. I believe I’ve found a Winner!!!

Do you have an orthotic insert in them or just wear them as they come?
What number Hoka are these?? They have numbers don’t they??

Ooooohhhhhh…. You may need to consider that you’re addressing the symptoms without fixing the problem. Watch this: https://www.instagram.com/reel/DGB8bRbSIQ8/?igsh=NTc4MTIwNjQ2YQ==
Fleet feet you said? How much for the shoes?? Glad your feeling better, anybody with less pain...(Great)🤘
Pls share model number

Are these them?
are they working for you?
I’ve been wearing as they come but I do have inserts that I’ve forgotten I have!

🙏
love them!
she still has to walk everyday while she works on it.
thank you but yes my pain is very minimal based upon what shoe I wear. My healing came from wearing the boot and rubbing castor oil under my foot each night. But because i am active in going and walking this shoe is working wonders for daily routine.
She states the problem but didn't give us an answer for footwear.🫤
that’s great, and I hope it continues helping forever, but it won’t. You don’t keep wearing the cast and the sling after your broken arm has healed. If you don’t strengthen your foot, the injury will resurface. Ask me how I know.
I understand and will continue to work on that. You’re telling me right.
Not everything fits in one reel. But here you go 😊 https://www.instagram.com/reel/DF6OiX0yGZo/?igsh=NTc4MTIwNjQ2YQ==
one reel cannot encompass everything. I have tried twice to add a link that actually answers your question, but for some reason it doesn’t show. If you go to her IG account, look for a reel published on 2/10. You’re welcome!!
the bondi 9 where I got them were 170 I think. I had a 10$ coupon from my pt
, thank you very much, have a restful, healthy, less pain week🤘

And even the customers were raving about them in the store!
Clifton or Hindi
Hoka bondi eff my feet up beyond belief!! I think it’s individualized as to what shoe works for who. Ghost max has been best for me with inserts bought from the Dr
Hokas forever😘😘
The latest biondi us 175.00 bucks uf
I just got the bondi 9 this weekend. I walked out with no pain, didn’t have any pain over the rest of the weekend but with. Hours at work (on my feet 90% of the day my foot is still angry.) I was really hoping that being I had no pain this weekend in them I was gonna be golden. 😕
So expensive.. and Im not feeling the look. They look like moon sneakers. Lol there’s gotta be something else out there similar in comfort a little more stylish.
I have a pair and love them..
Just got a pair of Hoka Bondi 9 last week. Still in pain but at least I can walk. Super comfortable shoes. Just need the PF to subside. 😞
I returned mine , too soft .
I have a pair. Love them! I'll buy a second pair
Is the toe box narrow?
yes!
bondi 9 Someone posted link above.
I agree with you.
mine too!
Altra shoes awesome
I agree. However, my altras wear down so quickly!!! 3-4 months, although daily wash and walk/runs might impact this? I still think they should last at least 6 months for the price?
yesssss
so are you saying that the relief was only temporary in them and since your feet has adapted, the pain is back?
I’ve only been wearing them since Saturday about 4pm I had them on all weekend at home. Max 7k steps. But today there was pain 2-3 hours in by the end of the day with 12k steps it is just as bad as it was in my shoes I came out of (which were in dire need of replacement) so I guess in a nut shell def temporary.
this makes me wonder if your foot had done any healing prior. I basically was back to walking barefoot in my house, with no pain. I think everyone’s situation is different. Sorry bout that.
it was crazy I went from pain to no pain in the new shoes as soon as I put them on. Then this am pain was back. The pt said it’s cause I went straight into them no back and forth. He said today I should wear the new ones till I feel some pain then switch back to the old ones (which makes no sense to me cause I was in pain in them) for a bit then back to the new ones and do that for about 5 days. Like all of us I just want the pain to go away. I’m currently at the beginning of a 4-6 week pt round. We are doing dry needling as well at some pt appointments. I felt a little better the day after my first dry needling session.
That’s correct; PT is telling you right. Your feet must adjust to the shoes because you still have the pain from the fascia. You have to switch them out. Usually they will give you inserts. Hang in there!
trust, I’m a very peticular and stylish woman. However, when I couldn’t barely get out of bed and was crying and hopping at work, spending hundreds at these podiatrist and therapist and getting shots…I was about to give up! Now, in all honesty It’s whatever works and maintains relief. Not too ugly that I can’t dress it up though. My friends laughed at them but I told them to “keep living, once you hit 50 and start feeling that ole Arthur and every other pain you will understand.” Sorry it’s not your taste.
Oh im 50 and I understand completely .. trust me. I have arthritis too. Just this week I had a breast biopsy waiting for results and I have a hysterectomy coming up so trust me I get it. I wasn’t passing judgment at all. I was just saying it’s not my style and I wish it was something a little more my style. That’s all I was saying 🫶🏼
I know and understand.. prayers on your biopsy and I hope that your hysterectomy goes well. My hysterectomy was the best decision EVER!!! Good luck .
Thank you 🥰and I hear that often! Why?? Lol
me too and like I say in this group…they are not for everyone and it’s ok. It’s just what I’m expressing that I like and it’s success story for me..
my husband bought me these and my son bought me a pair of Brooke's for Christmas I keep wearing these I work at a school and I'm on concert floors for 8 hours a day these are hands down the best shoes. I'm like you if it can help someone else's foot pain these are the shoes that will..
please take care of your plantar fasciitis as well… for your healing to begin.
I LOVE my Hokas! I have 5 pairs. I have $400 custom inserts for my Hokas, because I have had Lapiplasty bunion surgery on both feet.I have also had plantar fasciitis release surgery on one foot. Hoka makes a recovery sandal, that is like walking on air. Love them too.
They HURT me.
Same for me I've had PF on and off for like 12 years always wore vionic. What does mendelee but my first pair of Hoka Bondi 8 I walked very comfortably now still do my stretching but basically pain-free 😁
They were too wide for me. The Clifton in Hoka good for more narrow feet
Did you have heel pain?
I have 3 hokas my favorites
Yes, I have the same exact ones and have bought 3 pairs since that was my first!!
I agree....and their slide for home use. Omg. Can't live without
I got the Clifton 9 wide fit. Amazing. X
Mine too. Bondi 8!!
wow I am sorry.
I’m up to 3 pairs!
I would say it’s somewhat narrow. I have a narrow foot and my feet don’t slide around too much like they do in regular width shoes.
the hoka giavotta has wide toe box. My husband uses it for his diabetic neuropathy
you can order wide shoes and they are very roomy
lady above says this is not the right thing to do…🤔
do you have different ones you wear for runnibg/walking?
and are they true to size? Thank you
they are but it’s best to go in and get your feet measured. With having plantar fasciitis it is recommended you go up one size to keep pressure off your toes, and to prevent a flare up. My foot measurement was 8.1 but I got a size 9. And it is perfect!

no
I’m so sorry; you must find what works for you.
sounds awesome!
wow.
extreme, yes.
and these shoes helped?
I have 3 pairs total Also! The first pair I bought was much thicker sole and make you feel like walking on air. I love all of them!
after this weekend I now have 3!
comfortable and soothing!
I have 2 pairs of Hoka’s. Both really comfy for me but I think it’s all about your individual x
I have the Bondi 8. I wear them with my custom orthotic inserts. I only wear them at my 2nd job in retail. Mine are black and white. I really like this gold on there though. Hm....maybe for my next pair, I'll try the Bondi 9 like yours.
No shoe fixes your pain, it just masks the symptoms.
Hoka is on the do not buy list according to
Oh that is good how long you been wearing the Hoka shoes?
My podiatrist said no to these hoka
I have the same pair! I love them! I've tried so many others and these are by far the best.
These are the ones I purchased. Shortly after I got them was when my PF symptoms began.
These are only masking the problem. The sad part is is your feet still have the problem. I'm trying to figure out how to solve the actual issues with my feet and have not quite figured it out yet
yes! Love them.
, they are discontinued and the Bondi 7 and Bondi 9 are both too firm for me. 😭
this is so true.
oh no!! I was gonna buy a bondi 9 because I have flat feet and they really help
, maybe you can ease into them!
if I can find in my size. We have one store that sells them but never have any wide in-stock
, I did an internet search on Hoka's site and in 10 stores around me and on eBay. All new ones are gone. 😩
I have thought of ordering direct but I like to try shoes on first.
really? It’s an awesome shoe. Not saying it’s a cure but it definitely has me feeling no pain!
it’s great if you can go in the store and allow them to fit you into it.
, I bought a Bondi 9 and returned them online. I normally wear 8.5w in the Bondi 8 and ordered the same size in the Bondi 9 and had to get an X wide but they were just too firm for me. I am currently wearing my Bondi 8 most of the day and the Hoka Gaviota for 2 hours a day to try to get back into a firmer shoe. I am also trying to wear the Bondi 7's I have but they all hurt after 2 hours except the Bondi 8's.
I love mine!
, for the last 3 years I could only wear the Bondi 8 without pain. I tried the Bondi 9 and the Giovanni and Bondi 7 but they all hurt. I am currently wearing the Bondi 8 for the bulk of my day and am switching to the firmer ones for 2 hours at a time to try to force strength into my foot. 4 hours was too long. I tried to get another Bondi 8 before they were discontinued but I was too late and my size was sold out everywhere and they want $70 for used ones on eBay that look too worn out. Not good to wear used shoes, anyway. So, I have to find something else or get used to firmer shoes bc my Bondi 8's are wearing out!
close to a year but I started with a thicker heel and now down to this one.
wow I wonder why.
thanks for co-signing this with me! They are awesome .
I’m sorry but I don’t think I was clear. I’ve had plantar fasciitis for about 8-9 months but it’s pretty much gone. Because I’m a sufferer I do not want it to ever come back so these shoes was recommended to me because of that. Also I shared it to say that if you indeed is in pain with it now…you still must wear a shoe that will give you comfort, and these helped me. I started out with a thicker sole Hoka when I was in severe pain for relief as i went to work at the hospital each day, shopping, on trips and everyday life. Of course you still have to find a shoe that is comfortable when walking while having plantar fasciitis. For me, I could NOT wear any other shoe especially NOTHING flat! So when you have to go about daily life you do what works for you. I wasn’t saying these shoes healed me but they sure brought me comfort as I slept in the boot and rubbed castor oil under my foot each night. Since my pain has subsided I graduated to this lower sole Hoka and yes, it works miracles for me. I Will not dare put on the wrong shoes and bring back that pain! I hope you find a solution as well…
Fleet Feet also has wonderful customer service! I had a pair of Hokas purchased from there & within 3-4 months there was a hole in the fabric of the inside heel which wore away probably from it rubbing my heel. They sent me a new pair, even after about four months of having them already and not keeping the box.
I just received the Bondi 9 and it feels comfortable
I tried shots, orthotics in all the shoes, -On’s, Brooks, Altra’s, Tao’s, Chaco’s. Surgery 1 year ago with about 8 weeks in a walking cast and then compression brace after that. I still alternate all of these shoes, but I didn’t start feeling any real long-term relief until I tried the Hoka Clifton 9. It was the one brand I was avoiding because I have a narrow foot and it has been life-changing. I also see the Chiropractor and get treatment for PF, Sciatica, hip flexor (all right side) and left side of my neck. Although it has been over 18 months total, I am finally seeing some relief. It’s a slow painful process.
Did you replace the inserts or just used the shoe as it is ?
God bless you Thank you so much for responding. I totally understand. I have suffered with this so much. I still have not found any relief. I tried hokas and I couldn't even walk in them because I felt like I was going to fall over They were too tall for me. I'm so thankful that you found something that helped you especially when you have to work on your feet all day. It is such a horrible horrible problem and so many people have it. I joined four groups last night to try and find support. I was astounded at how many people have this problem and can't find a permanent healing solution. I'm so glad you found help though because when you're desperate to get out of pain will try whatever will make life easier for you.
have your doctor ordered the boot? I could not barely walk for so long and then I promise that boot done something! I refuse to believe it was just coincidence. And each night i rubbed castor oil under foot and ankles and put a sock on. Ice, pain pills, getting the shot, medicines from the doctor, therapy, exercises or nothing folks told me worked!! Bad shoes or flat shoes made it worse. I think the key was to have that foot in a shoe that will elevate it in an angle, so the sole needed to be higher than the foot. Also I was wasting tons of money going to my doctor. So I found me a foot doctor that specializes in plantar fasciitis. I went to him one visit. God is my witness!
I've never used the boot. I actually ordered one and had a terrible time trying to sleep with it.
great!
I hate you had to go through all of this to find relief but I’m glad you found it! Only thing I can say is please don’t get too overjoyed about relief because I did the same here with this post, and since this post..every now and then here comes the pain again! Flareups happen even after relief.🥲 😞
, yes there is still pain sometimes, but it is so much less! I have been able to walk a few miles daily again with my dog because of the Hoka’s and I am so happy!

![What shoe is best for [insert condition or sport]?
This is probably my most FAQ and I have a hard time answering it.
Shoes are important and play a big role in foot function over the long term, BUT too often people turn to shoes as a solution and they’re not a solution.
The solution is always to restore function through movement.
Switching to foot shaped shoes is part of that process, but if you’re already experiencing pain or injury, solely switching your shoes will rarely ever remedy the a](/images/captured/441eb9aa2e5b856618026a714effcf953cf9942011e97f19a844c8cdf0c6cbb7.webp)
