Hi all, I hope you’re doing well. I had surgery on 12/08 and I’m now at home recovering, but I’m extremely annoyed by the itching. It’s so bad that it wakes me up during the night and bothers me constantly throughout the day. I had no choice but to apply steroid cream to the areas where the skin is most itchy — not on the wounds, as they’re covered with plasters. Did it end up worse than it was before? Did it just not make it better so you wish you wouldn't have done it? Please share. I want to hear everything. I had my right foot surgery in Jan. And now my left foot, I had hardware removal, MIS and apparently hammertoe surgery done. Pain level is moderate. The hammertoe pin is uncomfortable but hopefully won’t need to keep it in long according to the dr. I feel weaker this time and trying to do exercises in bed to get stronger. Has anyone else had hammertoe surgery and pin that felt uncomfortable? Not sure how long my recovery is going to be. Bless No photo description available.
