I’m wondering when everyone was cleared to start weight training again. How long did it take before you could at least lift dumbbells? I’m assuming cardio will have to wait a little longer. I’m trying to figure out how I can stay fit during recovery. He said I can resume exercising (low impact - elliptical/stationary bike), swim, walk barefoot, get pedicures. I am (obviously) not cleared to jump or run. He set my next appt for mid November and told me I don’t need to be seen before unless something happens. He told me it will be 6-8 months before I don’t notice my foot anymore. I don’t r Natasha Johnson I’ll be 7wks post-op tmrw. I was scheduled to attend pt this morning but my therapist, sadly, had an unexpected death in her family. I was given the option of receiving pt through another therapist but decided against that. I’ll have my final 2 sessions with my regular therapist on Aug 20th and 25th. On the positive side, although I still have some peeling (in weird areas), I no longer have tenderness on the incision site, the scab is completely gone and I’m able to easil a day ago a day ago Learn More 3 days ago 3 days ago Learn More 3 days ago Learn More
