Hi new to the page, really dont understand what is going on
Hi new to the page, really dont understand what is going on with my foot as my bones have moved and toes are moving as well as seen in xray, have included my ultrasound findings in photos as im not up with all these terms, Basically I've been suffering with chronic tendinitis for 30 years ,started seeing a specialist for 15 years had injections, then ended up with tears, specialist said only thing left was surgery and sent me back to my doctor. He sent me to a physio. Got another Doctor kept telling him i had tendinitis and needed to see a surgeon .Fell over a couple of years ago, bruised toes, had numbness, toe nails were blue too. Hurt my knee ,doctor told me I had an infected cyst behind knee and put me on antibiotics and that was it. I have osteoarthritis from my neck to my feet. Its taken me till now for the doctor to finally order xrays , duel energy ct, ultrasound and finally an MRI, just waiting on the results of the MRI, Which i had sent to my knee surgeon, as I also need 2 knee replacement with legs straightening. My question is has anyone here got any of these symptoms I have on my ultrasound and if so, how are they treated, my doctors are not talking to me, they are just sympathising, I just want answers. Thankyou

Why are birkenstock so good? Do sandles have the same impact?

Just recently confirmed I have PF and the podiatrist recommended changing my footwear first before going down Orthotics and cortisone shots and shock therapy of whatever Can I ask for those of you who are still active what footwear do you wear daily for 1. Activity like walking and playing with kids? Even running and daily trips to the park or store 2. Office attire as i do have a sit down job behind a desk 3. Casual hangout She did recommend new balances and asics but not sure what to get of if there are other brands. She also recommended indoor slippers as my home is tile, hardwood and vinyl Right now, I just feel confused as I dont want to give up being active with this thing and I continue to research treatments and things that have worked for others Anyone try any insoles like steprrs or whatever?

So this is a new one for me but does anyone know why all my socks work and play would be wearing out in the center of the ball of my feet. No pain of any kind just curious. I have had PF on off longer than I can remember and do all kinds of stretches n exercises that help me daily but have never noticed this occurring before. I have gone to wider toe box lo drop sneakers and now mostly wear square toe roper or walking heel boots on the daily. But I’ve been wearing boots forever. I did come across a video on my feed that mentions it but didn’t watch it and now can’t locate.

Rehab question. I developed PF about 7 months ago and didn't take it seriously enough at first reading that it often goes away with a bit of rest. It did get a bit better and then came back with vengence a month ago. I have been doing just about everything the evidence tells me, and more amazing tips from this group, to knock it back. Daily streching, load strengthening with a variety of exercises, calf massaging and mainly Birkenstocks with the occasional Hoka and PF inserts for long walks which I have to do. I also have some knock off Koprez socks which seem to help a bit. I have just started supplements and am about to try cupping. I'm looking for a kitchen sink to throw at it next... :) Over the last two weeks, it has gotten progressively better. Stiff in the morning but walkable in the Birks. It definitely still hurts thoughout the day, especially when I sit for awhile, but IS getting better. The pain is still sharp under the heel on the interior side of my body though, especially when I put pressure on it. Can anyone provide perspective on their healing journey that is similar to mine? How long and what else is beneficial? Many thanks and positive thoughts to all of you out there! Step by step.

What has people's experience been with PRP? I've had two shockwave treatments (the high intensity kind), several rounds of PT, tried all the braces, stretching, scraping, massaging, etc. and cant get rid of PF in my left foot. My doctor has recommended PRP, but I'm hesitant to throw more money down the drain... Thoughts?

Things I’ve tried that don’t/didn’t work for me:
* XStance insoles
* Orthofeet sneakers (they had a 60 day try period)
* Koprez sleeve (marginally helps for support)
