This probably sounds really crazy.

This probably sounds really crazy. After over nine months of suffering with pain in my left heel that has been so excruciating at times I have considered going to the emergency room. I have done hours of research and last night I learned that the heel pain can be caused by a bunion which is much more common in women than men. I am mediately thought about the small bunion on the side of my big toe and the doctor was saying it could be calls from wearing shoes that did not fit correctly that caused the big toe to turn in towards the second toe. In the YouTube video that I will share below the doctor shared some toe spacers that will help correct the big toe from turning in words. Out of desperation I had some duct tape and I taped my two toes together making my big toe straight. Within just a few minutes I noticed the pain in my heel was much better. I have been wearing the tape for several hours and I am able to walk without any pain. Again I know this sounds crazy and too good to be true but it is actually working for me and I wanted to share it.

So what happens if u have one on the opposite side below ur pinky toe

Community comment#2

Do you have any other tape to use instead? Duct tape gives many people a horrible rash.

That good!!!! We are all different. Seems we have to do our own research to what will help. Glad you found something. I woke up one morning no pain!!!! Then the other day my foot feels like it’s one big bruise

I am happy this worked for you. But …if you don’t have bunions? I have had bunion surgery on both my feet. My toes are in perfect alignment. It’s interesting how one solution for one person, just isn’t the solution for another. 😒

You need to join the Facebook page. I had Lapiplasty bunion surgery done on both my feet in 2019. I had the bunion on my left foot done first because of plantar fasciitis, that started in 2018. I had that bunion for 18 years. My left heel has still been hurting on and off for the last 5 years. I thought the bunion surgery would fix it, but it didn’t. I just had plantar fasciitis surgery on January 10th of this year. My doc said it would be 3 months till I would not feel any pain. Right now 2 months later it’s worse than it was before the surgery. Hopefully this pain will be gone in another month. That bunion is only going to get worse, and that makes for a longer recovery after surgery.

Just know that this is a temporary “fix”. Bunions are the result of a bone deformity in the mid-foot which creates misalignment. I had 3D Lapiplasty on both feet…Best decision ever!

I got over my pf pain when I broke my 4th toe and taped all 3/4 toes together and had to walk a bit wonky. So there may be something to this.

yes. All Of the exercises I was told to do by orthopedic doctor was making it worse. Wow just wow. Maybe they don’t want to tell us to just tape them together!

I had a plantar wart on the bottom of my toe. An old lady told me too wrap it with silver duct tape and leave it on for several days. ( I had surgery prior to this and the plantar wart came back) . I did not want to get undergo surgery again so I took her advice and tried it. After about five days I got in a hot tub of water and let my foot soak then I pulled the tape off and all of the roots and seeds of the planters wart was stuck to the type. I’m a firm believer in duct tape.

as long as you don’t react to it. The problem is those that react to it react very strongly. Like it’s pretty much caustic to skin. I was told it works great on words because it dissolves them.

Yeah I bought some medical type this morning. The duct tape is just something I had it home and I was just desperate for some relief.

I fixed my bunions with kinesiotape. And when I say fixed - I mean it. They are not caused by a bone deformity in all cases. Every body is different

Try the toe spreaders. Most can only wear them 15 minutes or so, to start. I have the silicone ones. Seems to help.

I ordered this too!

I discourage bunion surgery. Mine caused my pf. I conducted an unscientific study a while back and only about 50% of bunion surgery people are glad they did it.

Worth seeing a reflexologist to release tightness.

First time ive ever wished i had a Bunion

X-rays would give the true picture. Bunions are due to a misalignment in multiple bones in the foot. Toe spacers, tape, inserts, etc do not “fix” that

Everyone is different. There’s no need to argue. I was able to fix mine. Muscles move bones. Any bony misalignment is due to muscles

I noticed when I got my toenails painted and put the little spacers between my toes it helped. Many years ago I sold a shoe that spread each of your toes. I’m going to look it up because I do not remember what they were called but they were amazing which makes perfect sense.

Update ! My heel is 80 percent better! I started taking MOA and after about a week I barely have any pain. I can press on my heel with no pain. This is soooo amazing. I only taped my toes about 3 days.
