As an osteopath who has spent the last 10 years treating PF

As an osteopath who has spent the last 10 years treating PF, I thought I'd share with you some of the resources that I often give to patients. Hope you find it useful (made for another group but thought I'd share here as the members seemed to find it useful). Andrew. Please see comments for videos (recommended order: plantar fasciitis group video 1st, and then e3 rehab second). I am post injection (second round in April, first was in 2023) in bilateral heels. My pain is predominantly gone, but what running shoes have you all transitioned to after it has resolved? I was wearing Altras then transitioned to NB 1080s. I’d like to go back to Altras but am open to other brands! Shared post FancySeahorse2984 Hi everybody . If anyone is experiencing or has experienced plantar like this please let me know because I’m second guessing my diagnosis and scared it’s fat pad atrophy About 6 months ago I started having heel pain and I was like oh no is the PF in my left foot ? I had it in my right about 4 years ago. It went away and then 2 days later came back and has been with me ever since. Been icing and doing all exercises for PF and then gave in and went to my orthopedic surgeon ( who gave me a PRP shot in my right and healed me ). No testing was done except an xray and it ruled out all abnormalities that an xray can show . The pain is when I lift my toes back, it feels like I’m pulling my insides not sharp just very tight. At times when I press in the inner part of my foot it hurts but also at time the outer part and the heel is where the pain is mostly . When I walk it hurts . It’s there in the morning and does go away a bit and then it flares up at times and when I sit for a long time it hurts and I limp. It feels like I am walking on a black and blue more than a sharp stabbing pain but don’t hurt just sitting around , though at times the inner part can burn . It hurts when I stand on the floor to do yoga and warrior pose and lunges ( so I stopped for now). My Dr told me plantar can present itself different ways to people . I have an appointment with my podiatrist Friday and asked for an ultrasound but I am scared to find out the results because I’m scared of atrophy. Has anyone experienced the heel pain in the back bottom of the foot ? Thanks everyone Hi everybody . I looked up recommendations online and it came up with Hoka Bondi but holy those are $175! What do you wear and live for long walks? Shared post Nicki Warne Right let's give this a go. This is my second night wearing it. It's not the most comfortable but I know we will all do anything to ease this horrible PF. https://amzn.eu/d/0555YjX7 No photo description available.
