Has anyone been able to return to a very active lifestyle? I

Has anyone been able to return to a very active lifestyle? I’m so fed up with this pain. It’s actually disappeared in my left foot but my PF remains intensely painful in my right foot. I love sprinting and I haven’t done this for 18 months. I’m not over weight. I’m very strong. I’m healthy….its just so depressing. I’ve tried so much. Jill Claire Ever since ive been wearing hokas daily for last 3 years my PF has been in remission. Now all of a sudden its back, really bad on right foot. My bondi 9 hokas i bought in the Fall so less than a year old. Seems to new to be already worn out i guess if its causing pain. I got them in wide so plenty of toe box room. I dont want to waste money on shoes and these were expensive. Should I buy another pair? I do find them comfy but I am so Kat CK Just came across this YouTube video and thought I’d share it here - maybe it can help a few of you too. A friend referred me to a large orthopedic office. Was seen by a podiatrist instead of an ortho Dr. They took X-rays. Podiatrist came in, glanced at X-rays, pushed on my heel. Advised I have plantar fasciitis and pronation. He said he’ll give me cortisone injections and orthotic shoe inserts. I asked about PRP therapy or peptides (like the poster in their lobby). He said those don’t work. I said it seems like most who get Helen Patterson So i saw i podiatrist yesterday. I have a longer appointment on Saturday to access itproperly. But he's taped it and put padding on my foot and the pain is now worse. I don't know what to do Omar Abou-Khamis Hi everyone, I’m working on my Master’s thesis at DTU (Technical University of Denmark), where I’m researching footwear design for people with heel pain, including plantar fasciitis. This topic is personal to me, as I also suffer from heel pain myself. I know how frustrating it can be when walking, standing, training, or everyday shoes become uncomfortable. Sorry for the long post, I just want to provide all context in case someone has experienced something similar. I’m 29 years old and never had foot problems growing up, even through sports and being active. About a year ago, in February of 2025, I decided to finally get serious
