So after 1 year and 1 month my foot is still killing me. Some days worse that others. So at this point is it “ just the way it is”? Now I am just considered chronic. I never in my life had something bother me this long. I usually heal quickly or I react to treatments fairly quick.

MRI came back, basically a small partial tear of the plantar fascia and inflammation affecting the heel bone and nearby muscle. I don't see dr till the 24th. His options before the mri were Shockwave or surgery. Steroid shot and PT have not helped. I wonder about a walking boot?

Hello everyone I joined this chat because I honestly have no idea where to go anymore. I’ve been to 2 different podiatrist. They both say that I have plantar fasciitis. I’ve had Cortizone injections on both of my feet. I went to physical therapy for two weeks. I wore night splint for two months and I’ve done the frozen water bottle trick along with the lacrosse ball, etc. and for some reason, nothing is working so I just went to an orthopedic and he gave me a couple shots. Three weeks later my pain is back. I am not understanding what’s happening, but I do not think I have plantar fasciitis and I did an MRI and I don’t think that says it was plantar fasciitis. I think it says it’s a bone spur however, my orthopedic doctor refuses to accept bone spur. Is there anything I can do to fix this? This has been going on since last October.

Been suffering for almost 6 years in both feet. Tried orthotics, medications, done all the exercises diligently but no relief. I’ve been told I have adhesions and they needed to be ‘massaged’ out before I should get new orthotics. It was so sore I feel like my feet are bruised along with the pf pain. I can’t go through it again. As a teacher I’m on my feet most of the day. Apart from using a spoon to massage, what relief can I get from this pain? Ps can’t get cortisone shots cause of autoimmune diseases and allergies.

I have been dealing with PF for about 7 months now and it feels never ending. I went to a podiatrist 3 months ago and got a cortisone shot, it worked for about 6 weeks and then the pain came back much worse than before. I have now developed a small bump the size of a marble on the arch of my foot near the heel and is painful. Has anyone else developed a bump like this?

My podiatrist put me in a CAM boot for a suspected small tear in my plantar fascia for 3 weeks. I just got my boot Friday. I feel like my pain is worse since wearing the boot. Has anyone else had a similar experience?

I had relief from my PF for about 6 months after I got the cortisone shot in my heel. It has come back and is quite painful again. I have been doing a lot of walking this past week. Today, I am noticing my ankles are swollen. Anyone experiencing this as well?

Anyone else battle with swelling? Did the injection, still in pain. Dr prescribed me meloxicam and my foot is still swollen. Anyone have any tips for relief?

This month is 4 years since my daily PF started. Drop your cure in my comments and I’ll let you know if I’ve tried it.
