I’m a swimmer and it is a great overall body workout! However, i wouldn’t say it loosens anything. It strengthens so it tightens my hips , shoulders. I have to stretch if I want things to loosen up

I can’t comment on the swimming bit as I don’t go swimming myself/ but if you have it severe like I do I can assure no amount of stretches will work, also walking a lot you say how when you are in constant agony ?? I can’t walk even around the house I’m in so much pain & have to limp so saying walking when you physically can’t is wild 🥴

thank you I have had surgery twice for this and it did not work. I am desperately trying to find something to help me. I am a teacher and on my feet alot

I’m sorry you are so tied by the pain. I have been there too. Finally got mri and X-rays of back and hip. Doing Physical Therapy for those issues has also helped my PF as it’s all related. Strengthening glutes and back etc has made life more manageable. I hope you can find something that does work for you.
