Question about the Oofos recovery slides. I have bowstring plantar fascia which the brand claims it's good for. As the arch is a little high which is uncomfortable, is there a breaking in period? TIA!

Hi everyone. Thank you for allowing me to join this group. I have taken time reading through many of your posts, and I see that I am not alone in this pain. I have had PF for 8 months now, but only made it into my podiatrist late June. I have done a lot of what you all have mentioned, including stretching, and exercising, but have found that if I over do things, that I am back to square one. Has anyone else been completely disappointed with seeing a podiatrist? I (after waiting over a month) had my first visit with a podiatrist today. Hey guys, I am 30 year old male, I have high arch feet, and I am a walker, I walk at least 10 steps every day. I am borderline over weight.
So far I am using Sketchers arch support series shoes but lately they don't help anymore either and my flare ups have become frequent.
Any tips and suggestions? Should I begin wear sandals in doors? Please share product recommendations what worked for you and what did not.

I first noticed my plantar fasciitis back in July 2023 after having COVID, and here I am 3 years later still dealing with it.
