Hello everyone I joined this chat because I honestly have no idea where to go anymore. I’ve been to 2 different podiatrist. They both say that I have plantar fasciitis. I’ve had Cortizone injections on both of my feet. I went to physical therapy for two weeks. I wore night splint for two months and I’ve done the frozen water bottle trick along with the lacrosse ball, etc. and for some reason, nothing is working so I just went to an orthopedic and he gave me a couple shots. Three weeks later my pain is back. I am not understanding what’s happening, but I do not think I have plantar fasciitis and I did an MRI and I don’t think that says it was plantar fasciitis. I think it says it’s a bone spur however, my orthopedic doctor refuses to accept bone spur. Is there anything I can do to fix this? This has been going on since last October. Hope you find it useful (made for another group but thought I'd share here as the members seemed to find it useful). Andrew. Please see comments for videos (recommended order: plantar fasciitis group video 1st, and then e3 rehab second). Shared post Nadejda Parusheva Does anyone practice myofascial release on the feet and calves, which Dr. Angela recommends? I'm trying it, but it's uncomfortable and I don't know if I'm feeling any effect and I'm hesitating whether to do massages with a massage gun instead. Shared post ClassySunflower8276 Been suffering for almost 6 years in both feet. Tried orthotics, medications, done all the exercises diligently but no relief. I’ve been told I have adhesions and they needed to be ‘massaged’ out before I should get new orthotics. It was so sore I feel like my feet are bruised along with the pf pain. I can’t go through it again. As a teacher I’m on my feet most of the day. Apart from using a spoon to massage, what relief can I get from this pain? Shared post Pink_raspberry2020 So, It’s been two months now that I have heel pain. When it started I went straight to physical therapy. But quit after a month as itvwas making it way worse and also spread to my ankle and calf. Now I want to see a doctor and see what they say. Question is who do I see? A podiatrist, orthopedics, foot and ankle specialist? Shared post Debbie Montague Saw my new Dr today and he confirmed plantar fascitis and a peroneal tendon injury Anyone else deal with both and what helped you? He suggested or was pushing for the shot but from past experience this never worked for me Is it really painful in the foot ? Did it help you at all ? Shared post Stav Gamliel I had relief from my PF for about 6 months after I got the cortisone shot in my heel. It has come back and is quite painful again. I have been doing a lot of walking this past week. Today, I am noticing my ankles are swollen. Anyone experiencing this as well? Shared post Ortiz Katherine Going sneaker shopping tomorrow. What do you wear for your walks? I walk 30-40 minutes 5 days a week. I looked up recommendations online and it came up with Hoka Bondi but holy those are $175! What do you wear and live for long walks? Shared post Diane Barbera Anyone do red light therapy for inflammation? Shared post Wendy Baker Harvil This month is 4 years since my daily PF started. Drop your cure in my comments and I’ll let you know if I’ve tried it. Shared post Wendy Baker Harvil turned off commenting for this post.
