I am like every other person on here..

I am like every other person on here.. Plantar fasciitis for years, bone spurs etc.. I was doing Zumba and couldn't almost walk the next day after one of my classes. The pain in the heal was newer to me as I have had the pain mainly in the feet. I have even had a plantar plate tear years past. Well now I have pain in the achilles. Just very recently started PT. She says I have tendonosis. The calf absolutely kills me most days and is so tight along with the extreme heal pain. I have tried EVERYTHING. The boot, shot, stretches, heat, cold, massage gun, wraps, tape, good shoes with supports etc etc etc. I have not seen the achilles tendonsis on here (different than just tendonitis.) I need help and advise on this! Whatever you can throw at me, I am willing to try! Please and thank you so much!!!

Look into gastrocnemius recession surgery. Low risk, high reward. I would not do the fasciotomy surgery.

Ok, so achilles tendon pain is misidentified as tendinitis for most people. I believe it’s roughly 80% to 90% of cases are actually tendinosis (degeneration). Tendinosis lacks active inflammation, resting and icing the area will not fix the underlying structural breakdown or dysfunction of the tendon. Instead, treating tendinosis requires rebuilding the tendon's load capacity and stimulating tissue remodeling through controlled, progressive strengthening exercises (like eccentric calf raises). This has to be done safely and efficiently. Less is more. But your tendon needs to be loaded to heal.
