I Believe I was misdiagnosed with plantar fasciitis and that it is actually heel fat pad syndrome. Which explains why all the exercises and all the extra things have never worked for me. I went on a week cruise and was walking on carpeted surfaces the bulk of the time. Within a DAY my pain went away. Then in one day of coming home and walking on hard surfaces, it returned. I only have it in my left foot currently. I got a cushione
