I have had PF on and off for years, but it's been years since it has flared up, until a month or so ago. I went to foot and ankle dr/podiatrist and we decided to not do a cortisone shot right away. I got myself some new shoes (KuaiLu sandals and some Keds Arch support sneakers) and that I would do stretches and take anti inflammatory meds. I will admit that I have not stretched as much as I should have, but I was feeling better until yesterday and today it got even worse. I actually have a follow up appointment tomorrow morning, but I really, really do not want that cortisone shot - I have had them and they HURT!
