I have to wear safety shoes at work. Slip proof and composite toe can anyone suggest good ones for PF Shared post Ricci Christine I believe I saw comments in the group that ASICS tend to be on the narrow side.... Not sure tho, is this true for the most part? Thanks. Shared post Karen Finklestein I am a teacher and today I went into school to help with a new student activity. I did a ton of walking and after only being there 3 hours I was in a lot of pain! I was in so much pain that the first step getting out of the car was extremely painful! I iced it when I got home, but it's still painful. School starts next week and I'm going to be on my feet a lot! I was just starting to feel better, but that's probably because I haven't been walking very much while on break. I have supportive shoes, but none of the inserts seem to work for me. I'm trying really hard to avoid a cortisone shot because I've had them before and that pain is worse than the current pain. Besides icing and stretching what else have you found that works well? What are your thoughts on getting the system from the Good Feet Store. They come with 3 inserts to wear, and a very pricey investment. It feels like my arches have gotten worse. I’m so discouraged and disappointed because I start back teaching on campus at the end of August. My plantar fasciitis has not resolved after 4 weeks.β€” in Baltimore County, Maryland. MEDIUM GEO AREA Maryland Shared post Shannon Christoffersen Pittman I see Hokas recommend a lot here but has anyone had issues with them lasting? These were purchased 4 months ago (off Hokas website) and mostly used for walking and occasionally pickleball. My son put them on to walk yesterday and he heard a pop and then felt his foot go.through the side of his shoes. He put a warranty claim in with Hoka and is currently waiting on their response. However, for as much as he paid for these shoes I definitely had higher expectations. I brought this A3 sheet to my Rehab Doctor and Physical Therapist and they were both floored and said I’m the ideal patient. Removed a lot of the guesswork. So far after only 2 PT sessions I feel a big difference. But still have some ways to go. Obviously, it’s posterior chain tightness, yes? May be a doodle of text Shared post
