I just got off the phone to my specialist for a 4 month review. I had a 9.2mm thickness and a 8mm tear of the plantar fascia. We found this out 4 months ago. So i spent 3 months in a moon boot. And 1 month just only on my foot for about 2 hours over the whole day walking around house. Had shock wave and PRP injection done to foot 4 months ago too. The new MRI scan shows no improvement to the plantar fascia and the tear is not fully Anne De Any of you that are very fitness oriented, how did you cope? Iโ€™ve gone from walking at a fast pace, 20 to 25 miles a week (in addition to strength and resistance training six days a week) to only riding my recumbent bike and doing upper body and core work. I donโ€™t like the feeling of going backwards in my training. Iโ€™m doing my own therapy 30 minutes a day-stretching, toe towel grabs, inversion exercises, foam rolling, spoon scraping, Margo En Has anyone noticed that after trying a dozen different kinds of inserts that zero inserts actually made your feet feel better eventually? Jim Santoro Is obtaining an ultrasound of the feet for PF is just as good as a MRI study? Sarah McCartney Hi, I'm new to the group, has anyone had experience of plantar in the toes and ball of your foot? Not heel... I'm doing all recommend exercises but toes aren't changing at all.... Julia Glencross Medium high women's shoes relieving PF pain - anyone experienced/ can explain?! My PF developed last year when I was training for a 10 mile run I've done every year for 20 years. I ramped up training too fast I guess. Pain only started just before the race though so I went ahead and did it. After the run my foot pain was worse so I stopped running and been trying to resolve it every since - 9 months and counting. Since the pandemic I have mainly been working from home, so a lo Lisa Crook Why is so painful here when it's meant to be the fascia underneath the foot ?
