I’m so relieved that my husband has an MRI scheduled for tom

I’m so relieved that my husband has an MRI scheduled for tomorrow so we can finally find out once and for all what’s going on with his foot! He did CPR on a friend on a moving boat which started it and then he jumped off a scaffold and felt a sharp bee sting like pain and it’s now been 6 months of agony. Ultrasound didn’t show any tears but apparently it won’t show micro tears. Every night it’s red, hot and swollen again. He’s doing everything you should, wearing the Asics Gel Kayano 32 shoes, no barefoot walking, icing, podiatrist recommended exercises … all of the things. He also did shockwave therapy but we’ve since been told that’s not much use when it’s still so inflamed and we need to get rid of the inflammation for anything to work. Here’s his ultrasound so it’s definitely thickened. Has anyone had an MRI for this and did it help pinpoint anything? See less

My husband had his ultrasound today and they weren’t forthcoming so I have no idea what I was looking at Can anyone show me an image of their ultrasounds showing plantar fasciitis? The gap between the white bit at the bottom and white bit at the top was much bigger on the sore foot than the other foot but that’s all I could ascertain.

Insight required on behalf of my husband who is having excruciating pain. Is it normal with PF to get worse and worse as the day goes on and to have swelling and redness and it be agonisingly painful even when not on it? This has been going on for a few months. He’s doing all the things he should (PF specific sole inserts, ice, stretching, not walking around barefoot etc) and if anything it’s getting worse and not better. He initially got it from doing CPR on a boat (long stor
