It has officially been 1-year since I’ve had Topaz Surgery, and I couldn't be more thankful with the results! Flash back to my story as perhaps it will help someone (it's a little long so have patience while I explain) -- I developed plantar fasciitis about 2 years prior. For the next two years, I saw a podiatrist and then an orthopedic doctor who both would provide me some relief with cortisone shots. Night splints and physical therapy didn’t provide any help. I found them to be rather painful as they are quite rigid, so went back to the specialist who fabricated them and although he adjusted them, things didn’t get much better. In desperate need of shoe recommendations either flats or something with heel. I wish I could wear tennis shoes but it definetely would not look great! If you look right by the mole on her foot she has that long band that runs between her heel and ball of foot. That is where most of her pain is… it’s more pronounced on right foot but is on both. My 11 year old daughter has PF that her doctors have referred to as “the worst case in a child they have seen”. She has done PT, arch supports, etc. they won’t do any interventions like shots until she is grown. Has anyone had similar experiences? She’s No photo description available.
