how many in the group were diagnosed with PF bunions and hyperpronation of the feet? What did they advise you and did it help?

Any one that has both plantar fasciitis and bunions?
I recently went to dickssportinggoods tried on Brooks, Hoka, Nike and OnCloud.
The Brooks were the comfiest BUT after trying at the store I felt uncomfortable on the edge where the bunion is, not sure if I have wide feet or it’s just the bunion

Kind of a complicated question- Has anyone here with both bad bunions and PF actually had bunion surgery first and then later the PF improved with all the usual treatments but not pf surgery? I have had horribly bad bunions for years and just kept delaying surgery but now have had horrible PF for 18 months. I can’t help but think the two are related because my toes are squished into each other. I know other factors are involved as well but if the squished toes aren’t fixed maybe the pf can’t be fully healed either….I will bring this up at my orthopedic foot surgeon appt but I was surprised the surgical podiatrist I saw was going to do pf surgery first…I opted for just shockwave therapy which has been immensely helpful but not 100% cure.

For those with PF and bunions (big toe squashed in a bit) - have you managed to use toes spacers to straighten your big toe out without causing damage to your big toe joint and trigger more problems & pain…?
