My PF has 95% gone away. It’s been 2 yrs. I want to play pickleball again. The running club said I should wear a PF insert in my shoe. I don’t wear one jogging on a treadmill. Should I wear a insert playing pickleball on a hard court?
taping stretching

or try taping your feet? If that feels better than the insert? Or do both?

Pain has diminished 99% over 2 yrs. Go to the gym daily. Jogging stretching ect. I still have a little pain in the am. Does this ever go completely away?

Mine went away. Since you're 99% better, have you tried changing diet yet? Read the Sugar Impact Diet by JJ Virgin. I was at 95% with just a little annoyance daily. Chiro recommended this book. I followed her plan to a T and it was completely gone within the first week. I did follow her plan for 3 months but then went back to normal eating afterwards. Now I can tell when I have a LOT of stuff I shouldn't be (like Christmas) but it goes away again.

Carol Rose Good question. My foot definitely is better, but it's tender and unstable the first couple minutes in the morning. My tailbone area is bad also the first couple minutes, so am thinking there's a connection.

I believe it does. But like any stress injury, it's creating a buffer zone between oneself and re injury. Which usually involves more strength or mobility. Nearly healed or plateauing usually means there is something missing to completely heal. I could be as simple as not having barefoot time or transitioning to minimalistic shoes.

I was about 90% pain free. I followed The Sugar Impact Diet by JJ Virgin, and within 2 weeks it was 100% gone.

Wondering if during that year you had any treatment or if it just went away.
