New here! I've dealt with plantar's off and on for a couple
New here! I've dealt with plantar's off and on for a couple of years but this weeks flare up has been so bad I finally told me doctor about it. His only suggestions were no barefoot walking (which is the only way I walked around the house), new cushiony shoes and rolling my foot on a golf ball. Got new shoes yesterday - ASICS Versablast 4. In the store trying them on they were like heaven, so comfortable. Wearing them around the house today not so much… do we think it's just due to needing to break them in? I was prescribed a steroid and anti inflammatory (for a knee issue) he said would help with plantars as well.. anyone have helpful advice? It hurts to walk. Tried rolling a ball for 15 minutes which oddly didn't hurt my heal but hurt by the bone on the outer side of my foot.
Asics
stretching
anti-inflammatory
