Tried tons of insoles and found some that don’t actually make it worse. I’ve had two injections in the last 6 months that only work for about two days. Any of you that are very fitness oriented, how did you cope? How many people have tried going gluten free and also zero sugar to see if it helps the inflammation? I keep hearing that healing could be delayed by the inflammation if your body is reacting and screaming more due to gluten.

MRI results just came in.
I’ve been experiencing PF pain since November 2025. I started physical therapy in January 2026 and slowly have been feeling off and on better. I’ve had 2 cortisone shots - one in January , one in April. PT has focused on strengthening exercises and stretching. I still have pain, but I can now do a little bit of barefoot walking and in a tennis shoe can get back to the gym and my normal walking with less pain. On my feet all day also as a teacher. I h

Many of you gave me good advice when I asked about walking the Camino de Santiago with PF. Well I ignored some of it
and walked it anyway. We completed our Camino in June, and we have been back in the US for about a week. It was hard. There is no denying that, but I’m glad I did it. It was an amazing experience even with the PF.
