So back story. I have high arches. I've had ankle problems sinse i was a kid. Was always straining, rolling ankles on flat ground etc. I've had a couple of avulsion fractures etc. Fast foreward to five years ago, I had a plantar plate repair in my right foot. I've now developed bursitis in my right knee. And abiut 7 months ago the ball of my right foot started giving me problems. I had xrays and found I had a stress fracture in one of my sesamoid bones. I did the crutches thi Jason Stone Hi all, I’ve been dealing with what has been diagnosed as 2nd MTP capsulitis on the left foot for about 12 months. I went to a specialist and they did a diagnostic ultrasound injection with lidocaine. That took the pain away and took the feeling of walking on a stone away. My toe does not drift, there is no crossover or hammer toe. All physical exams do NOT point to a plantar plate tear/rupter. I can flex the toe with no pain but I Nathalie Bussieres-Pretty I feel so frustrated, I started with pain on the outside of my feet, treated by physio for pereneal tendonitis. Did not work, went to rehab doctor, she thinks it's arthiritis, Sent to rheumatologist. He doesn't think it's arthiritis, gave me a cortisone shot as a diagnostic tool in the calcaneus as now i also have heel pain. MRI, shows some tendonitis pereneal brevis and a bursa posterior of ankle. Not sure what to do but I've had pain in both feet since August. A Olivia Hawk Update! So I’m officially fed up with my feet and everyone. I went to the ER today and the Dr took a Quick Look at my feet and told me to just wait for my appointment April 3rd and that they “don’t do MRI’s” so based off this I’m most likely losing my NEW JOB. I work Monday-Fri and I can work like one day for 4 hours and then my feet hurt and that’s if I PUSH myself. So basically I’m screwed. My plans for paying off my car, moving out Olivia Hawk Okay so, second day of work. Literally had to leave after 2 1/2 hours because my feet hurt so bad. Limped my way out of the building, and was in so much pain I cried the whole way home. I’m literally 18 and I’ve been dealing with this for a year now. I’ve tried so many things and I honestly don’t know what to do anymore. I’m going to try a new dr a foot and ankle specialist to see if I can find out what is going on and if that doesn’t Brian Schultz So upstep says I need to ditch Lems and go to Hoka’s after 6 years in Hoka’s and being told to switch to Lems…this will be interesting as much as it is frustrating Joni Schwartz Update: 2nd opinion, podiatrist, diagnosed with plantar plate tear that did not show up on MRI. More waiting for healing, trying to avoid surgery. FRUSTRATING Tenosynovitis! Tennis shoes for 4 weeks, boot for 5, PT the last two weeks. I just can’t I was supposed to run a marathon in June, hiking in March, everything is canceled. I’m not seeing improvement and I keep following recommendations. Anonymous participant Has anyone felt like they’ve tried every doctor and test and nothing has worked???? I’ve been to my general doc, podiatrist, dermatologist, urgent care, er, and infectious disease doc. I’ve had an mri, X-rays, culture. Started about 8 months go with pain and redness on my pinky toe. General doc said athletes foot which I knew it wasn’t and he gave me nystatin. That didn’t work and it got worse so he called in an anti fungal pill. No bueno. Referred to podiatrist. He said it w April 30, 2025 Learn More March 24, 2025 March 22, 2025 Learn More March 14, 2025 March 13, 2025 February 13, 2025 January 21, 2025 January 12, 2025 Learn More
