So I have had heel pain for months now and presumed it was plantar fasciitis. The past day or so I was getting weird stabbing burning pain in my heel at rest. Coming and going. So severe I was kind of freaked out. I took ibuprofen 600mg x 2 yesterday and had foot reflexology. I was still getting the stabbing pains right after the massage. Then last night and today… no pain. Wow you guys i have to tell you all what I did last night...last n Shared post Karen Finklestein I am a teacher and today I went into school to help with a new student activity. I did a ton of walking and after only being there 3 hours I was in a lot of pain! I was in so much pain that the first step getting out of the car was extremely painful! I iced it when I got home, but it's still painful. School starts next week and I'm going to be on my feet a lot! I was just starting to feel better, but that's probably because I haven't been walking very much while on break. I have supportive shoes, but none of the inserts seem to work for me. I'm trying really hard to avoid a cortisone shot because I've had them before and that pain is worse than the current pain. Besides icing and stretching what else have you found that works well? Shared post Robin Georgie-Butler Hello everyone, This is my first time here. What are your thoughts on getting the system from the Good Feet Store. They come with 3 inserts to wear, and a very pricey investment. It feels like my arches have gotten worse. I’m so discouraged and disappointed because I start back teaching on campus at the end of August. My plantar fasciitis has not resolved after 4 weeks.— in Baltimore County, Maryland.
