So when are we considered”cured”? For the past couple of weeks, when I get out bed in the morning, I’m not having any foot pain. Like literally zero pain. And no pain all day and not even after I’ve worked on my feet all day. It was getting better a few months back and noticed my pain was like at a 1 or 2 most days. I’ve been going barefoot more and more lately but still wear my oofos around the house. Honestly I don’t know what to do at this point. Although stretching feels good the pain in my heel when walking seems way worse. Every step hurts. I'm now walking on the outside of my foot. I also now have pain on the very lower back/outside of my heel whereas before it was just the bottom pad of my heel. Why would stretching make it worse? I go back to see the Dr. In 3 weeks. #icingitnow Shared post Linda Malcomb It has officially been 1-year since I’ve had Topaz Surgery, and I couldn't be more thankful with the results! Flash back to my story as perhaps it will help someone (it's a little long so have patience while I explain) -- I developed plantar fasciitis about 2 years prior. For the next two years, I saw a podiatrist and then an orthopedic doctor who both would provide me some relief with cortisone shots. Night splints and physical therapy didn’t provide any help. Anywho, my question is, does anyone else sometimes feel the arch “twitch” at all? I do a lot of strength training and every now and then this past week I felt that sensation in my foot that is more prone to plantar fasciitis. Happens quick and then gone. TIA! Shared post Kat CK Hi, early May I received customised orthotics and did my very best to break them in and get used to them. I found them to be rather painful as they are quite rigid, so went back to the specialist who fabricated them and although he adjusted them, things didn’t get much better. I wanted to give them a fair chance though and wore them for a few hours a day ever since. I noticed though back pain creeping in too.
