Trainers Can anybody suggest trainers that can have the sole split and an orthotic inserted. They need to be suitable for doing an exercise class not just walking about in everyday life. Finding footwear is such a nightmare and I am so demoralised from getting my hopes up and then having to return shoes. All reactions:

They may decrease your pain momentarily, but it will recur without proper exercise. 2.Orthotics are only good for calming down pain. You have to get rid of them if you seek for permanent cure. 3. Orthotics only calm you pain, but prolonged use make you feet muscles weak. They are time bombs. 4. Same as Orthotics, steroid injections only calm your pain. Prolonged and regular use could even be detrimental to your tendons. 5. Wrong exercises can worsen your PF. Abrupt withdrawal from exercise can worsen your condition. 6. Over-exercise can worsen your condition too that could bring you back to zero. 7. There is no immediate solution for PF. Patience and consistency are some of the major keys. 8. There is no specific magical diet that can cure your PF. 9. You may start with arched elevated heels shoes at the beginning to reduce pain. However you need to gradually decrease the drop to assure that you are correctly strengthening you foot muscles. 10. Barefoot walking is HELL for PF only at the beginning,. . . but it is your goal. If you can walk barefoot the whole day, that is the only indication that you are completely free of PF. 11. It is ideal to wear wide toe, zero drop shoes once you are almost capable, to assure that you PF will never recur again with the aid of gradual, systematic and progressive exercises. 12. Untreated PF can ruin your achilles tendon, your knee, and even your discs. 13. The best cure manifests only in the Goldilocks Zone. Find it through trial and error. I’ve been wearing them for 30 years and I do about 9,000 to 12,000 steps a day at the age of 66, with no pain. For the people saying my feet are weak, I was following doctor’s orders. And I think no pain is everyone’s goal on this page. Where is this info from?
