I wanted to share a very rare but very recent experience we had with a horrible guest. I have attached screenshots of my review of her, and below is her message back to me via the platform. Her response shows that some people will never take personal responsibility and will always blame everybody/anybody else for their poor behavior. It's unlikely that we'll get a dime from her to cover damages but we're more concerned about warning the next host. Accurate guest reviews are so important to hosts! Alhana's response "I'm not sure where all of this came from.. my daughter asked that her one friend came with us. And yes, I should have updated that in the system. My dog was let out numerous time out the back door off the ring camera and was properly picked up after. As far as cleaning, floors were swept and mopped. all dishes were cleaned except for one glass that flew on my daughter's head from the top shelf from simply opening the cabinet without anyone touching it leaving her with 3 stitches . And all towels were washed. Yes my girlfriend has red hair and it died the towels and the kids had glitter but we did clean behind us. As far as the support animal being unattended, she was contained on the back porch with food and water while we took the kids to the pool. Would you have loved me to take the dog to go swimming too?? She a support animal that's here to help with my kids and their emotional and mental needs not be one of my kids that I should take swimming. The mentioning of smoke concerns me as we never smoked in the house. I have a lock box with my medical dispensary stuff in it but even cigarettes were smoked in the truck that you can see us walking out to smoke out of the house. As far as the disturbances at that time, is when we checked in coming from out of town late waiting for kids to get out of school so I apologize our travel time was not convenient to you and I didn't realize my family and myself were now being micro managed to the point that a grown woman am now being targeted as a child. I'll be sure to send some people your way to have stripper parties since a family get away isn't your style. Again I apologize my life has been such an awful inconvenience to you. Maybe you should make your place kid friendly and learn how to put dishes away the right way so more kids don't get hurt due to your neglect." See less
