to the MAX Melia Deters Is it normal for airports to have a separate “oversized luggage” carousel in baggage claim? Curious for my knowledge since I never check a bag but I had to check an outdoor tent, and DTW apparently has a separate carousel for it.
Kneupper West DEN has circulating vertical ones for golf clubs, ski gear, etc. Right next to that there's a platform for other large sized items like trunks, shipping boxes, children's carseats & strollers too.
Denver has them for skis, camping gear and golf clubs. It’s right behind the regular carousels
