Looking for recommendations on EV chargers for a short term rental property.
Looking for recommendations on EV chargers for a short term rental property. The biggest thing I’m trying to figure out is access control. I want to make sure we can turn the charger on and off through an app so only registered guests can use it and we can avoid unauthorized charging. I’m also curious if anyone has found a good way to physically secure the charger so it does not get stolen or tampered with, especially for an outdoor setup. Would love to hear what brands, models, apps, enclosures, or security setups have worked well for you.

of Airbnb Automated Carl Galler To "Ryan" of Sarasota who has an Airbnb in Venice, THANK YOU for saving us from hosting a nitemare guest! Somehow our "Requires Good Track record" button was toggled OFF on our Instant Booking option and "Inna" snuck in! I read Ryan's review of her which was one of the 2 negative reviews of her 3 stay Airbnb career and was horrified to see that we were potentially her next victim! Called Airbnb customer service who were actually very accomodating in helping me quickly cancel the booking with no penalty and alerted me of the instant booking setting; which i quickly toggeled BACK on! Moral of the story; check your Instant Booking setings! Thanks again, Ryan! See less

Airbnb was wonderful when I had the same experience. Airbnb has always given me great customer service, thankfully, I don't need it often.
