I had a 9.2mm thickness and a 8mm tear of the plantar fascia. We found this out 4 months ago. So i spent 3 months in a moon boot. And 1 month just only on my foot for about 2 hours over the whole day walking around house. Had shock wave and PRP injection done to foot 4 months ago too. The new MRI scan shows no improvement to the plantar fascia and the tear is not fully healed. He said I could do surgery to release the fascia. He said a 85% chance it will work.
